In addition to the ugly BBS wheels I abhor the new trend of painting the wheels - yuck!

Quite apart from aesthetics the practical ease of cleaning a simple 5 spoke can't be ignored.

I have many far better things to do with my time than scrubbing wheels with a toothbrush until my back hurts... (and then for a lot longer still...)
In fact my back is starting to hurt just thinking about it

Personally I think you can't beat cup 2 on a late (S4 and up) 928.

The panamera five spokes look good, but 18" or bigger just screams "bling wheels, old car" to me.

For the older body 928 the club sports rule.

Cleaning the brake dust off with a brush & acid mag cleaner was a bear! Getting crossdrilled rotors on the front helped some....

Cleaning the 5 spokes is soo easy comparitively! Does anybody zaino their wheels? does it help stay cleaner?

Not going anywhere near those sheepskins...

I am a sucker for basket. Please post pics and PM me price.

Here's my old car, 16" Epsilon superlight. They're going for @$2k/set now.

I really think the Cup 3s are hard to beat on any 928. These are on my '82

I waivered back and forth for a month between the 5 and 10 spoke panameras. In the end I went with 10 only because of the size of the rotor and caliper. They seemed a little small to show off with the 5 spokes. Same reason some guys don’t wear spandex bike shorts.

After cleaning the 10 spokes a couple times now, I think the 5's might have been a better choice.

Appearance aside, I love the better offset and handling.

i never liked BBS wheels, but my Evo has 'em, but they fit the car and i kinda grew to like them ..... except when its time to clean them.

these aren't even nearly as busy as some bazillion-spoke BBS's.
