$225 pre-order pricing closing down this week. Kits will start shipping Monday when I get back from Hell.

Standard pricing will be $249, and will include a discount coupon towards the fronts if there is enough interest to have them made.

The short answer is 21mm vs 22mm Rear Sway Bars, but there was a VIN split in 1981 for the changeover to the 22mm rear sway bar.

Kudos to Hans for bringing these back, I still remember all the fun Louie and I had in the late 90s sorting out these Drop Links for all the year models!

Cheers,

Dave
Link doesn't work. I would like to see what the 1 mm difference in handling is.

Just realized how my message may have been interpreted. I meant to say that the INTERNET link didn't work not the Ott drop links. Sorry

What is the relative stiffness range of the Louie design compared to stock links?

Regards

Fred

Fred,

That is a good question, and one that we could realistically solve with FEA if it became necessary.

I will say that there are two adjustment point, both stiffer than stock. Subjectively, I have had 90% of the different sway bar options fitted to my cars, and the Ott-link solution was by far my favorite for daily use.

I still have brand new bars on the shelf, and went ahead and made a batch of links instead if that tells you anything. Plus, rear bars are a huge pain to install. Not worth it unless you are planning trans service in my opinion.
