High Idle when warm on GT
I have been having the an issues after my Intake refresh. The GT idles at 775 rpm (perfect) when cold...and when the engine warms up it idles at 1000 rpm and stays there. There is a very slight hesitating when pressing the throttle too.
any suggestions

Every seal and vacuum line is new and all nicely sealed up.
Why would heat cause an increase in idle speed?
Would the Temp sensor II play a role?
I've replaced with new O2 sensor,
New ISV, TPS, Hall, CPS, Knock sensors
Every piece of rubber under the intake
I have cleaned the MAF (worked fine before)

I don't know the answer to your second question. But I will have a look on my drive home. If this occurs, what would it indicate?
Thanks

Thinking about it a little more, I did notice my "real time fuel consuption" was reading (zero) when I came off the throttle...is this what you mean?

At freeway speed, car in gear, dash display set to Instant Fuel Use, foot off gas coasting, reading should show 90 mpg.
Another thing - is the air cotroller slider switched to the recerc position (far left)? This positions activates the air conditioner, resulting in higher RPM.

if it reads 0 then yes the tps is working.....mine would read an actual value...but never go to 0...suggesting the car didn't know the throttle was closed...
just another thought...my GT also had a pinched hose leading from the MAF to the oil filler neck...with a small hole... (easy to get pinched when replacing the intake if you're not careful)...don't know if you can peek under there to see if that's the case..

Nope, A/C was in several different positions...no effect.

I would take a can of carb cleaner and spray around the intake and check for a vacuum leak or use smoke. most times a high idle after a intake refresh is a vacuum leak. and it will act just like how you discribe

pay close attention to the sealing of the intake at the #1 intake runner the manifold can sometimes catch on the water bridge and then not fully seat on the head even with new gaskets this can cause a leak
