Hi Dins,

I am bumping your thread. I saw an interesting manifold you may want to consider for your 1GZFE.

This swap was done on a w201 Mercedes 190E. The manifold appears to be fabbed but a work of art.

Thanks for the bump Mongo. You must be psychotic, uuh, I meant psychic.
I'm sitting here fondling a set of quad 44mm throttle bodies as I type.
The Mercedes manifold's are pretty. But they don't have the variable length ability of the stock intake, that's a big power boost, much more than the variable valve timing that my engine has. It's kinda like when the VTEC kicks in, in the Fast and furious movies.
I've recently designed a new upper intake manifold that will allow me to keep the variable length function, and also fit's under the stock hood.
The throttle bodies also have 4 additional injectors' for a total of 16. Just in case I need a little more fuel.
If you read the whole Mercedes V12 build thread, He blew it up before it ever got off the dyno. Brutal reality at it's best.
Speaking of the fast and furious. In the new FF8, there will be a TT V12 Supra that's running with our engine management system and soft ware that we designed for my V12 car. Who'da thunk my insanity would reach Hollywood, and we were paid for it, to boot! Bahahaha!
Once again thank's for the bump, and if anyone out there in internetland needs a V12 928, I have all the parts on hand to build another.
Best regards Dinsdale

Congratulations to you Dins!

I only know of one other V12 Supra in the world and that one is called the 'Top Secret' car. Google shows many more details about it. I think it's over 1000HP IIRC.

Your intake manifold design sounds like a winner! I can't wait to see pics of it!

Default ITB PICS

Howdy boy's, here's a couple pics from my latest manic episode.
I ditched the quad manifold project in favor ITB's. Mikuni 38mm off a 2004 Suziki 600 motorbike.
Should sound nice.
Best regards, Dinsdale

Default ITB's for the masses!

Think 928 ITB,s .
Send me a donor and I'll do it for parts cost. Donor car must have a stand alone engine management system, or want one installed. MS3pro is my choice.
Then we'll have cheap ITB's for the masses!

Thanks fellers, they are a thing of beauty. I fondle them often.
Just waiting to hear them wail! We have the revs limited to 7500 rpm right now.
T,This setup should fit under the stock hood. (9" from valve center to top of venturi )
Thank you for the kind words
Dinsdale
