Thanks Adrian I appreciate your business.
There are also two short Porsche hoses from the rear of each pressure regulator. You will need those as well unless you changed them already.

Thanks Roger
These two short hoses are the ones that actually are on the forward side(meaning closer to the nose of the car)?
I also need a new (or freshly plated) right fuel line off the damper 928 110 378 03 which i also understand are NLA...have any joy on this for me?

Thanks,

928 International carries good used hard fuel lines.

Why?

Get the right fuel injection line and clamp on new collets. Are the existing lines Bavarian magic? The results are remanufactured lines and the ends are fine.

Not arguing any point but 155 green backs is a bargain for quality parts and piece of mind the car wont light up like a match stick.

You have read the part about never putting rubber fuel line onto the ends made for plastic barbs, like they had no choice to do, on your high pressure feed hose?

Like I've always said, Porsche made a few too many of these vehicles for them to become really, really valuable.

Burning them helps with the values of the rest.

Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to remember, are those barbed on the 82? I was vaguely recalling a flare.

I just got a set of Greg's fuel lines via Roger. They are works of art indeed.

Just trying to guide you to the water.

It's completely your choice to drink it or not.

Seriously, replace that feed hose. It's dangerous. Those barbs will slice through that rubber hose like razor blades. It's just a matter of time.

The guy that agreed to crimp it on there was an idiot.

The return hose was originally rubber and will be fine.....you could have grabbed a piece of N020 281 1 German fuel hose and clamped it on there.

And the eight short injector hoses, while you are there....unless they have already been done.

I've only talked on the phone with Greg one time, enough to know he is smart...I don't know him well enough to know whether he's an *** or not, though...

Greg has a low tolerance for STUPID....that might be interpreted as being an *** depends on your viewpoint. Suffice it to say I know of NO ONE who has more experience with 928s than he does. Fact is I have him work on my 928 when I an too busy or lazy to tackle it my self or simply recognize I am in over my head....

For what it is worth....

Like many, I tried to save some dollars and have a local hose shop rebuild a fuel hose. Tried both Aeroquip and Parker. Conversation started with can you do lines with metric fittings. No problem. When we came to the question of what are they used for? Both shops would not touch rebuilding a fuel line. Both had the same answer, too much liability for them to touch them.

I did find a third that would do it. He screwed it up and it leaked. Caught it when I installed it so no downside other than wasted time.

I don't know much...but i have seen enough evidence in the last 3 years to know that fuel lines are not something to be cavalier about.
Greg, i will add the 8 short hoses to my order with Roger...thanks!

Thanks to all again for your input.

Cheers,
