1983 Going back to stock look

The black and Carbon fiber Momo wheel is gone, The matching carbon fiber shifter and 3guage A piller pod is gone. The cheesy StarWars looking stereo is gone. Next to go is the ugly door speakers.

Lots of new leather (now I know why every leather guy hates BLUE) The camera flash really makes the subtle shades stand out. Looks lots better sitting in it lol

Soon the interior will be finished. The supercharger is gone also.

Last to do, is fresh paint and then...... just drive and enjoy. I have gone full circle in the last 6 yrs with this car, spent a small fortune, I`m back to the beginning but still enjoy every moment in it.

You just need to peel the "SC" off the back of the car and you'll be good to go:)
Looks great BTW.

Very nice! I love the oddball interior colors of the era.

The complete S/c setup from 928MS is for sale. I think I posted it up a few weeks ago. I would like to get $3300. for it. It is the modified unit with carl`s billet impeller. I ran it for 3 years and recently installed a new belt and bearings. Unit is fresh.

Hey Tony, I think I am gunna keep those wheels. They dont make them anymore. A couple of us bought the last batch that fit the 928 from TireRack. I use them with my summer tires. I think they look good on the car. If I decide otherwise I will drop you a note.

Really curious what stereo replaced the "Star Wars Stereo" ... looks like a pretty unusual head unit in the pictures.

Thats a unit made by Custom Autosound in CA. The headunit is small and only 3/4in. deep. One wire goes to it from behind console. The other components and all the wires are hidden under the passenger seat. Head is designed to be completely hidden in glovebox. All functions are comtrolled by small remote.
When car had supercharger on it, the radio area contained 3 digital guages fitted in a single DIN panel. That is a temporary installation until my new Blaupunkt London shows up.
