Just to add some closure to this one, in case of any future searches...
I purchased the ArnnWorx fuel pressure gauge and it works perfectly on my S4's.
So I think we can conclude that the later 928's do have the same access port fitting.
And that the P378 (or an equivalent pressure gauge, like this one) works on all of them.
Or, they also sell just the fitting by itself if you want to make your own adapter.
I was originally planning to make an adapter for my existing shraeder valve equipped gauge.
I should mention that this particular gauge does not seem to have very much damping.
But that was fine for troubleshooting my restart problem, and confirming the fix.
