Sorry for bringing back an old post. I'd like to get this bracket but when I click the link in the original post, it says the website requires a password. Is this still available?

I could probably drum up some. I know I have several rev1's and a couple rev2's... Let me check tomorrow and get back to you. Thanks!

This size of Halon or even Halotron is more than enough to put out most engine fires - assuming fuel pump & engine fans are turned off (e.g. ignition off). With a dry powder extinguisher - possibly not such a good outcome.

Wasn't Halon banned?

They don't manufacture it any longer but it's still available. Kind of like R12. Halotron I will still be manufactured until 2030.

So is there one of these mounts available for the 1985 928S cars? They really look great and I'd love to pick one up too.

I got into my 928 too late! Missed the front speakers! Missed the Sharkwoofer! Missed this extinguisher holder!

Jim, PM sent. We bought one of the original batch for our GT, works great! Not in the way at all, but right there when needed. We need one more for the S4 and glad to see there are a few still available.

Cheers,

Kaelix, I e-mailed Jim about the rev2 but I'd be fine with the Rev1. I e-mailed Jim and told him you should have the rev2 since you did indeed bump the thread. Shoot him an e-mail, he'll take care of it. Corenman and I can arm-wrestle over the others.
