Another interesting point regarding U-Haul. They would not rent a car trailer to me after their series of 20 questions, they informed me that the 928 would not "fit" because it sat too low.

Correct they know it IS too low...and the ramp angle too steep. Plus they have to be worried about **** Porsche a$$holes.....and liability.

More than a few folks, particularly tow truck drivers, have " looped the rear straps around the trailing arms", and ended up trashing the lower arms when the transverse 'blades' got bent. For those playing at home or reading this for later reference, the only safe way this works is to use a couple short choker straps around the tube part, then pull down and to the rear under the hub carrier.

I jacked up the tongue while it was still hooked to the truck to offer a less harsh angle going up.

Yes - I finally got rid of that bitch of a trailer - plus the ramps were like 60 pound each ....
