Didn't look terrible to start with which makes the job so much nicer. I had a bucket full of acorns under my CIS air meter.
Good luck with the job!

be sure to scrape off the old intake gasket from the heads...... Another odd fact...when I switched engines in my 84 racer, I just installed the 1st engines intake....it had massive vac leaks on just about every intake ruinner...we checked and the head is square....so I had to lightly sand every intake runner to "square" them up to seal the leaks!!!! After that she ran great

started to disassemble my injector rails and other parts to prep them for cleaning and re-plating.
my injector hoses were actually ok and in great shape!
injectors off. I cut slits on a 45 deg angle at the top and then used small side-cutters to peel back the remain hose piece than pulled them off. i numbered so witchhunter ( where they are going) would know what cyl they each came from.
whole box of parts ready to go to the plater.

This is great to see. Wish I had the guts to take mine apart like this and clean it up. With the lack of Parts suppliers locally I'm too scared of losing something..
Keep it coming, love seeing this stuff

Hi Mark,
Looking good. Where did you get your plating done? Also, don't forget I still have your speakers, etc.
