Seller canceled deal on 928GTS now an ethic?

I doubt that anybody who can afford the price of a GTS can afford the time to litigate over $200. Unless it is just about the idea of the thing.

Little old lady near where I used to live sold her house and changed her mind several times just days before the close of escrow. Who is going to sue a crying little old lady who doesn't want to leave the house she raised a family in?

What LoMiler told he used to do was to wire a deposit, removes a lot of wiggle room.

No harm no foul...
So I have bought and sold many Porsches over the years but this one was by far the most unusual. The seller was the most attached to his car I have ever seen! Which equates to a wonderfully cared for GTS!
This car is clean!
I flew up to the Bay Area the seller picked me up at the airport, he almost changed his mind again..I had to assure him if I ever sell the car he has first right of refusal!
200 miles home and what a great trip!
From the city life to living in the country where she'll be living the back roads life!

Congratulations and nice to read a happy end of your beginning of the 928 journey, welcome to the shark tank!
That is a wonderful picture: great backdrop and a 928 with no-rub strips. Thanks for posting your update, and please post many more external and interior pictures and other info of your 928.

Congrats. "all is well that ends well" as an OLD quote. Seems to be that way now, for both you and the PO. I'm sure you will continue the great care, and enjoy it every bit as much as the PO did.
Now - join the 928 Owners Club, and bring it (and you!) to Kananaskis Canada in July for the upcoming 928 Owners Club International Convention, so we can all see it.

Gradcundulations...
A previous owner of my GTS has first dibs. I have a list of about 5 that want dibs too.
The first 928 i looked at purchasing the owner backed out at the last minute.

I can relate to the emotion. I bought my 928 from a lady who's husband had passed away. She had to have a moment with the car. She kissed it and said good bye. One day when I was cleaning it I found her late husbands business card under a seat. For some reason I've just left it in the car?
Enjoy your purchase great looking car!

Congrats on finalizing the transaction.
Perhaps now start a new thread introducing yourself and the car, with lots of pics - inside and out.
is this your first 928?

Congratulations.
A nice story ending so beautifully well!
Take good care of that beauty.
It reminds me when I got mine, first Porsche ever...
Took the bus in the morning to Montréal and came back with the car in the afternoon.
One of the most thrilling day of my life!

Every car has a story. This story is just one of many to come. Keep good notes, and pictures if you can, of all the other stories that become part of the lore and history of the car. It adds another dimension to its future value.
Oh, and welcome to the 928 world! Enjoy the ride!
