33 bar brake bias valve 4 sale
From our 'old' 928 friend in Draper Utah, here is one of the hard to find 33 bar brake bias valves. No relationship, except he's been a 928 guy for at least 15 years, and wanting to help someone looking for this upgrade to the OE valves.

I didn't realize they were hard to find - I ordered a new one a few years ago - are they NLA now?

I should have been a bit more specific. These are still available new, but it is rare to see one available used.
The REALLY rare one is the 45 bar. No longer available new, and were only used in 964's, as I recall. I found a couple of 964 guys who had upgraded their brake bias to 55 Bar that still had the OE one in their tool box. Probably the only way anyone wanting this for their track car will get one.

I agree that its a really nice upgrade - I much prefer it - Someone should jump on this one...
I considered the 45bar - couldn't find any at the time and anyway wasn't sure about that much of a change - any experiences with 45 bar rear bias? too extreme for the street ?

Alan,
I had the 45 bar on my '89. I think that with the 993 rear calipers (22% larger brake piston area) was excellent. On a previous '88, I had the 55 bar for a while, but felt that was TOO much for the track, and certainly overkill for the street.
On my '94, I have the 33 bar and the 993 rear calipers. This 'I' think balances off the bigger rotors/clampers on the '92-95 front brakes very nicely.

That was quick Roger. I will order one soon. Is it pretty easy to install? I have front 996 TT's that are not ideal offset. I wonder if I should go to the 45 bar to put even a little more braking force to the rears. This is not for race and only for weekend street use. I have 295's on the rear. Any thoughts if the 33 or 45 would be a good thing for my setup?
