One result to note that might be applicable to other MY (IIRC I've run across this before) is that the mirror switch is on a different fuse - according to the diagrams - depending upon memory or no-memory.

For seat/mirror memory it's on fuse 25 (not 40.)

Differences from CEL card:
Fuse 17: add Alarm and Turn Signal (switch I assume, but not shown in WSM)
Fuse 25: clock and diagnosis circuit

Differences from WSM:
Fuse 10: add stop light switch
Fuse 17: add Alarm
Fuse 27: Hazard and Turn Signal Switch(es)
Fuse 41: clock (yes, another one, and no, the bulb feeds through dimmer)

Dave - thanks - will check fuse details

As I have noted before - I'm not going to update/republish the diagrams loaded here until later - all in one go, rebuilding the diagrams takes time and many changes will have broad impact across many years.

However - so you aren't checking things known to be wrong - I'm going to maintain one post here with known/pending changes and applicability to year, so you don't need to trawl through and interpret other existing FB.

Please check there to see if there are known issues that will affect what you are checking. I'll continue to update just that one post so there will be only one place to look.

I'll update this later today.

Possible fly in the ointment Re Roger doing the 88ROW, Presumably his UK delivered 88SE. This was originally equipped with DLR with the H4 headlight bulb running at approx half power peculiar to the UK and only affects I think some '87, '88 and possibly some '89s.
I don't recall if there was a wiring harness change for this with possible consequent changes to Fuses and Relays, but there is definitely a separate coding plug in the harness and a separate Magic Box to reduce the power to the Dipped Beam Bulb.

It may be beneficial to find someone with a non UK '88 to cross check this. Sadly I can't help as my '88 is also an SE - so similarly afflicted.

For those unaware of this UK only mod, Turn the lights to position I and the Headlights pop up with the H4 dipped beam element burning at about 1/2 power. Turn to position II and the lights work as normal.

Yes I'm aware of this - (as is Roger) it doesn't change anything else except the HL relay type - we have that covered.

Thanks for the heads up on it anyway - all good to highlight... for ROW (UK) we need to call it out under HL relay

Alan, just found an interesting discrepancy in the 81/82 info, see my post:

My source is the 928 Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair 928S doc, PCNA Service Info P90. ( see below)

Martin - did you mean 928.610.105.16?

If so don't worry - have become quite error prone in typing recently (fortunately I mostly type parts number in rennist posts (to Roger) - not for the actual diagrams).

Yes - not so much a typo as aging eyes...
