1992,5 928 GTS
By 1992,5, I mean a 1993 MY 928 GTS produced during the 1992 MY production batch. 88 were made like this. 13 of them were for the Canadian market, like this car.
Automatic transmission, so M28/50 engine with A28/18 gearbox.
Equipment:
M058: Impact absorbers front and rear
M113: Version for Canada
I130: Labelling in English
I139: Seat Heating - Left
I218: License brakets front and rear
I239: Change of tyre manufacturer at production (not customer selectable)
M249: Automatic transmission
I323: Sticker, without ESE-Regulations
I340: Seat heating - Right
I403: Cast wheels "CUP", 17 inches
M418: Protective side mouldings
I423: Cassette container and coin box
M437: Comfort seat left, electrically adjustable
M438: Comfort seat right, electrically adjustable
I464: Without compressor and tire pressure gauge
I537: Left seat with positrol and lumbar
M553: Version for USA, Canada
I562: Airbag driver's side and front passenger's side
I567: Windshield tinted, upper part
M573: Air conditioner
I595: Rear spoiler with color of the car
I602: Third brake light "High mount"
I642: Additive for cooling water
M650: Sunroof
I691: CD-Player "CD-2" with radio
I718: P and R programme VIN changes (USA and Canada only)
I912: Vehicle without identification plate
I930: Seat covers rear leather
I983: Seat covers front leather
I would be interested to see the build sticker of the trunk, to see if the engine/gearbox are listed as 1992 MY.

Thanks Samuel, I will request a photo of it...
FWIW, the cast Cup wheels (I403) are still on it, are they anything out of the ordinary? They look to be standard issue to me.

Nothing special about the wheels. It is just that Porsche has listed much more equipment for the GTSs than for the previous iterations of the 928. By example, the " I423: Cassette container and coin box " was a regular equipment so it wasn't needed to specify it, but it is for the GTSs.

You are missing 2 digits of the VIN, so it's hard to tell. The last six digits are found on a 1980 Australian market RHD, a German market 1991 GT, and a 1992 Great Britain GTS, none of which look like the car in your avatar. Pull the 17 digit VIN off the A-pillar or the door jamb and let us know.
