Hi Rob,

Is there a way to find out what the interior color on WPOJB0928HS862126 is?

Thanks!

It looks like linen to me, but it could be champagne or silver gray (?).

Do you have access to the car? If you can get the 2 letter color code off the options sticker in the rear cargo area (or in the warrranty book) that will help narrow it down.

Another option would be to call the local Porsche dealer's parts counter (or better, stop by in person) and ask them to run the VIN in their PET2 system, on the vehicle ID page under 'INFO' it should give them the carpet code. If they won't do that for you the final recourse is ordering a Certificate of Authenticity, which should give you the same information.

Thanks for the response. Yes, that is my car, and the interior code is QA.

I just saw a 928 in the "for sale" thread that looks to have the same interior as mine, and the sticker price calls it: SPEC LTHR/LTHTT BLT-SILVR GREY - I'm thinking it means Special Leather, Light ??, Black Trim, Silver Grey Carpet?

As best I can tell code QA is a partial leather interior, so that fits the leather/leatherette part. Not sure what BLT part is , certainly could be black trim. In 911s of that era, the leather/vinyl was called Parchment but I'm not sure whether Parchment was used in 928s. Will keep snooping.

Thanks Rob! Looks like the headlights would need to be changed out to work properly on our roads.

The driver seat is an 8 way like you mention but should it have the lumbar switch also which would make it a 12 way? Little confused on the lumbar option. Thanks

No, the " I537- Left seat with positrol and lumbar " indicates the memory system for the left seat (and the position of the lumbar support is also memorised if the car has the option).
Your car does not have the "I586-Lumbar support - left seat", so was delivered with a regular 8 way seat for the driver.

WP0ZZZ92ZG5841632 is a Spain delivered 1986 928 S(2), with manual gearbox.
So engine M28/21 with G28/10 gearbox.

Equipment:
M220: Locking differential
M261: Outside mirror - plain-Passenger's side, electrically adjustable and heatable
I319: Changed set-up of fan
I415: Widening of the gauge on the track on the rear axle
M462: Sekuriflex windshield
I490: Hi-Fi sound system
M533: Alarm
M650: Sunroof

The change of set-up fan could be interesting in Spain, but not so much in Belgium, so consider change to regular set-up if you find that the coolant liquid's temperature stays too low.
