Is there a way to tell what the paint code of your car is? I have no way of identifying it, sticker in the hatch is gone and so is the label on the driver's side.
I have a sneaky suspicion the current color of the car isn't the original color

Do '88's have a VIN/options sticker in the warranty book in the glove box? I know 89-95 all do. If so, the paint code would be on there.
