Is it possible to check #9289101906? I noticed you haven't really responded to these 10 digit vins? I see the responses to the WP0*** vins so I'm not sure if that's a different system? I'm scoping out this car as a project and it has been sitting awhile. Thanks so much.

In keeping with the new and improved title of the thread, there is no options info for the 10-digit VIN cars, outside of Porsche's own COA program. 9289101906 is a '79 Euro, somewhere near the middle of the production run for that year, based on the last 4. But that's all I can tell you.

Well thanks for the quick reply. Sorry for my oversight in the thread title. Well I will have to do some more investigation on this car because the door jam has a plate that says late '86... wonderful lol

No problemo! Post a couple of pics of the engine compartment, interior and the VIN tag in the door and we can help see what you've got.

Quick question - I am guessing that option I471 includes the sport suspension M474? It would appear my car has that - the front shocks are green, have no height adjustments, and the rears have threads integrated into the shock body. The car is also WAY lower than my '79 928 was.

Those green shocks are early Bilstein shocks. So it is sport suspension. Just pre front adjustable.
