Thought I'd post it here before going through the usual channels. All original, 39,000 miles, second owner. $40K OBO. PM if interested.

Beautiful car! I always like the contrasting piping on the seats.

But I can't help noticing that the steering wheel is upside down, and the rear wiper not in the proper off position. ;)

Seriously, it may be a good idea to invest $30 on a new charge port cover, and a lid for the window washer fluid reservoir. Then it would really show flawlessly.

In summary: one of the most desirable 928s on the market right now, for a fair price.

robot808 12-28-2013 09:50 PM

Yeah, I would totally walk away from this car because the washer fluid cap is missing.

nc_growler 12-29-2013 01:49 AM

Totally agree. Eliminate the little detractors that cost minimal $$. Don't even open the door of a question.

YMMV.
Agree it is nice, but seems to be asking a premium for this car. If it is so easy to fix as you imply, I have to ask why isn't it fixed? Works both ways.

You don't find intake tubes in this condition, but you also don't have to fix the rear wiper return.

This thread started good but wow, the crowd turned tough.

The $40 or the high idle don't bother me but yeah, the missing washer tank cap is a deal breaker.

Oh, and it's black; divide the price by ten and I'm in.

But seriously, very nice car. GLWS.

Nice 928, good luck with the sale.
The price is fair for a nice 94. Actually I thought the price is cheap (his asking 40K OBO) given how people are saying prices are going up on good example low mileage cars, specially the GTS models. Looks like a late 94 too so it may have the later 2R rods.
Also I love how the interior color is not black or worst, that Gray color you see on most of the later cars.

Guys... This is a great opportunity. With little to no effort this car could be a 100 point car and double in value. I would expect Wilholt has already looked and maybe even purchased this car. Its a relatively low mileage car and appear to be rather unmolested.

All it needs is a good detailing, a washer cap, jump post cover, and a little attention to the rear wiper and it's ready to go!

I expect to see this back on the market in pristine condition for $60k or more.

If I had the space, I would do it myself, but I don't... GLWS!

the ONLY thing you can not "restore" on a car is the odometer reading.....under 40,000 miles is a huge plus !!!

I don't think this is a premium. I think it is a very good price on a beautiful, low-mileage car. I don't think that anybody in the market for a car like this is going to pass on it because of the these things that this list takes pride in pointing out.
