Patina is usually weather and age but when they get that bad we can call it patina all we want but it is still just a car in desperate need of body and paint work. That being said Kevin is and has been a loyal and wonderful friend to me and my Family as well as an asset to my shop so I want to offer him full body and paint , when he is ready , on the house!
WHAT A GENEROUS OFFER!!!!

You guys make me sick with your mad car skillz. I'm lucky if I can change a tire without assistance.
And I own an '82 928. I must be fekkin' retahdid...

How's Nuen Werke's paint work? My car needs refreshing, same color. Not a necessity to do right now because of cost but don't mind splurging if I can get a nice paint job for decent coin.

With the knowledge here and a little confidence you can do most anything to these cars. When I purchased my first Porsche(1985 928) 17+ years ago, it was my first sports car and I had never even put air in the tires of a car. After I almost got ripped off by an independent shop, I realized that I needed to learn how to do things myself if I wanted to own classic sports cars. Years later, I have had over 20+ sports cars from Porsches to Ferraris to ....... Each one I learn a little more on. My current Euro S I have puled and rebuilt the motor as well as refurbished the interior, electrics, dash, etc..... In the end, it is all just nuts and bolts, not quantum physics. You just need some time.

Dear KLVA, could you enlighten me on how you went about polishing the intake legs to such a good finish? Sorry to ask what most people will see as a basic question!

A couple of weeks ago when I went down to visit Kevin to do a little work on my S4 I had the privilege of seeing the Junkyard Euro as it appears in the most recent pics....got to pet the spider It's so cool to see how he's bringing it back from how it looked when the fork lift picked it up out of the yard.
