That would be cool to keep the paint original but paint the wheels before new rubber.
Detail the heck out of the motor and suspension etc..

I wouldn't mind to see it completely restored with new paint one day, but I really appreciate the patina it's got now. Fortunately to get it to Frenzy Kevin will have to sort out the mechanicals first

I have done a dozen or so heavy restorations in my life. When I got my first 928 a year ago, I was a little taken back by some pessimism on the board. I know now that its all in good fun and there are SO many projects out there.
With that said, I followed this car since the first "sighting" and I think its going to be a great project. IMHO, (mechanical) ground up resto is the only way to go with these cars anyway as the slope quickly gets slippery. She has great presence and you have a known owner history, best of luck with it!! Congrats!
