I love the original 928
How beautiful the original design of the 928 are! I love the uncluttered shape without spoilers, sunroof and side stripes. Have a look at this cutie from the 70's for sale in Norway (no affiliation, just wanted to share). Perfect colour combination!

My 81 has no sunroof, but it does has rubs strips which in my case are needed because people in parking lots suck and high schooler's can't park at my school.
No spoilers though, so it's form meets function in my case, my doors won't dent and I will never miss experiencing the leaks other people get from the sunroofs they have.
It is still one of the purest shapes in the automotive world and is a timeless design that never will show its true age.

Agreed, love the uncluttered shape!
The '82 I just bought has no spoilers. It has rub strips, but those are going.

Very Nice. But, not as nice as Ed's, right here in Pittsburgh.

Like a time capsule of cool!
I wonder if car buyers would buy more interesting interiors if manufacturers offered them. In the name of efficiency the options, and combinations, have been driven way down.
Then again, if you're a wealthy person getting a bespoke car is possible. The 928 was being sold in rarefied air.

that is beautiful. I love the cork combo with the Minerva blue. I am surprised at how many sharks in this color there are - I used to think it was a rare color, but there seem to be more in this color than others in these early cars; Minerva blue shows up a lot.
