928 Custom Cabrio - Info?

In general 928 cabs are not all that well loved here. Except by those of us that own them. Not sure if that is because having top down motoring combined with the power and stability of the 928 is so awesome (it is). Or if it is the 'a face only a mother could love' sort of thing.

Karl,
You gotta admit that while most babies are cute, not ALL babies are cute. In fact, some are just butt ugly. I personally like attactive 928 Cabs; I just don't like the ugly ones.
The creators did a fine job on the cab in question here, until they got to the rear window treatment, whereupon they lost their minds.

I have a photo with the note that Caro in Hamburg(?) made these for very short while. I think credit for the original info goes to a member from PFF. I pulled a bunch of 928 convertible images off the internet a couple of years ago.
At least you know where the photo was taken.

Rumor has it that the design was originally conceptualized by an intern at the Stuttgart facility who was laughed out of the board room upon unveiling his beloved design. He fell into a deep depression where his head filled with rage towards those that scoffed at him. He began to plot his revenge on his former colleagues. Lacking originality and creativity (the reason for all of this) his only plan was to invest every cent he ever earned into a small shop where he would torture and mutilate every Porsche he could get his hands on.
He died penniless and alone at the age of 28 (ironic) when the 928 engine he was converting to run on Schorschbräu suffered a massive failure and he was struck by flying debris.
Sounds crazy I know but I read it on the internet so it must be true.
