GTS Engine Cut Out - Intermittent
At freeway speeds, engine cut out for a second or two then seemed to operate normally.
This happened twice yesterday and twice today, separated by about 15 minutes - both days after having driven for about 10 minutes to the first occurence.
Did not seem to be related to going over a bump in the road that may suggest a loose connection of some sort.
I know it's not much to go by, but any suggestions on where to start looking?

Check your ignition switch also. I had the same thing on my S4. Gave the ignition switch a little wiggle and car came back to life.

Check the ground lines on both coils. I once had another car die in traffic, only to restart again 90 seconds later as if nothing was wrong. Then it died again, by which time I thought to check the ground on the coil. Sure enough, it was loose.

Check to ensure your battery is fastened down correctly and the clearance from the terminals to the battery cover lid to ensure that you are not getting arcing from the postive terminals to earth.
Any doubts isolate the terminals from the lid with a sheet of rubber. Cheap insurance- and when it well and truly contacts you spot weld the lid closed to the battery- ask me how I know!
I suspect this happens way more than folks think possible and best of all easy to eliminate from the list of possibilities.
Good luck with the hunt

Randy,
Jeff suggested the 'electrical' part of the ignition switch. Shortly after buying my '94 GTS (age 12 yrs, 62K miles), there were several 'momentary' things like that with various components. Found wiggling the switch always restored activity.
Replaced the electrical component, and never an incident since. Easy first check, then on to more difficult ones if wiggling, etc. doesn't solve it.

Well I'd say its worth changing out all the key relays, as cheap elimination: LH, EZK, & Fuel Pump.
All standard '53 relays - get them from Roger.

Interesting "list" of suggestions.
Fuel pumps and relays usually raise their ugly heads when starting.....once they are running/making contact, failure is relatively rare.
The most common thing, for what you are describing.....loose power wires at the positive battery post.
When you check to see of the battery is tight and not hitting on the cover (Fred's suggestion in post 8), make sure that the 10mm nut that tightens down the red wires to the side of the positive post is tight.

It has not reoccured since then.
Did a close look at everything suggested (except the CPS) - nothing obvious out of order.
I'm suspecting the ignition switch.
