Is this a CIS 4.7L Euro engine?

Here we go! Any thoughts on what you see?
Early CIS so could be 4.5 - was it actually yellow originally?
It is listed as an 80. Custom paint job not really my taste but looking in this general direction.
Listed as an 80 928

80 could be 4.7 S or 4.5
I'm guessing no. I don't think the intake tubes leading to the plenum are large enough.
Doesn't look like a Euro motor because the intake runners are too narrow. WUR looks in the proper position for it, tho...
Thanks for the info!
what is that canister under the body strut? a fuel filter?
cowl cover and seal are missing KnN filter installed, get the factory filter , hump points to the sky |
No it's not. The second vacuum for the 086 wur is missing.
Any pics of the rest of the car. Euro rear fog light, dash, etc ? T
how about you get us an engine code under the top radiator hose on a flat surface on the block that silver canister is blocking the engine area
look for the engine #, if it's 28-09,10,11,or12 then it's K-jet (CIS)
We know its K-jet from the WUR. When did the WUR go from mounted at an angle (to the car's centre line) to in line as in this case? In most things it could be an 83 like mine, but ???
