Default I'm back

And I need help. Two years later and not much has happened to my 928 other than some idle and starting issues, but that's for another thread.

Now I need to know if anyone is willing to sell a gas tank compatible with an 84s us. Or if anyone has gone about a fuel cell. Or or if websites like http://www.partshotlines.com, and http://dcauto.gotdns.com are trustworthy.

Secondly if anyone has a 84 fuse panel ( 928.610.105.07 ) for sale or if there is any place to rebuild them. Or or if dcautos is a reputable source to buy from.

Thanks shark owners and let's pray no more issues for another few years!

Best place for a good used gas tank is 928 International:

Best place for a good used '84 CE panel is also 928 International:

What's wrong with your gas tank and fuse panel that they're irreparable?

Gas tank ive been repairing for awhile now but im putting enough money into to the point where its just better to buy a new one and not worry about it breaking again. Last repair was a full blown plastic welding a new patch over the crack but for it to break again.

Fuse panel could be repaired but i dont know where to get the quick connects with the lock in them. If i could find them i would be able to repair it hopefuly but its pretty much burnt to a crisp.

^^^ What he said.

Actually, there is another option for fuel tanks: The part# is 928-201-003-08, available for only $1144 MSRP from your local Porsche dealer or your favorite parts vendor.

not to be smart, but what did you think when you were buying a "cheap" Porsche? These were one of the most technologically advanced super cars of their time. Just because they are now old and technology has long since passed them up doesn't make them either simple or cheap to fix. There is no such thing as a cheap Porsche.
