I took a picture of this before I took it apart and it looked fine in the camera "snapshot" after the picture, but then when I went to see which direction this went on installation it's way over exposed/washed out and now I can't tell which way this goes.

Which is the correct orientation for this gear? #1 where it's flat, or #2 with the bevel up? (used better camera for these, lesson learned)

Thanks I had seen that site, but my pump his different than that one (fewer pieces), so not sure if the gear is the same since there's only pictures of one side. I'm leaning towards #1 but confirmation would be nice.

I think the bevel edge goes down. It should show it in the video.
