Default Any idea of the cost to have the entire interior leather redone?

My 85 Euro has the tan/brown full leather interior (except dash) and it is all shrunk from the decade the car sat in salvage yards before I bought it in 2000. I have a complete black carpet set that is like new and really want the entire interior black. I don't know if I'll have problems with the door and quarter panels as the shrunken leather has deformed them. I'm sure I could buy some Recaro or 911 seats for less than having the 928 seats redone but I like the spaceship captain's chair look. I'll also have the dash covered in leather to cover up the cracks.

Did my '93 GTS interior (seats and carpet) at Heritage and was very pleased with the results. Ditto that on lots and lots and lots of pennies! Took a lot longer thanI expected but worth the wait.

I just priced it and it came out to the ballpark number I had always thought it would cost, $7500.00 new leather interior for some parts shipped for the install, other's installed by owner, add another $1K for steering wheel and $11k for top paint job and aero mirrors. Slap on new 18 in wheels and tires for the complete look === $25 big ones .................... new brakes, new suspension, ..........................

all in all (with the right MY in good mechanical shape), you would have one of the most desirable vehicles on the road and still cost less than an average ****box

Here is a pic of Clasic9leathershop custom work, Rob did the Dash, console, Wheel, A pillar and door panels.

I think it really updated the driving experience, anyway for me it did.

I've seen Davek9's interior and the work is excellent! Classic 9 Leathershop gets a thumbs up. No experience with the others so I can not comment either way. It is good to have multiple resources!

I'm planning on having Paul fix my steering wheel. He's not taking order under December though. Gives me time to save up. I want my front seats re-covered also but that's for another day.

Right now, the major interior upgrade I'm looking to get is source a no-crack brown leather dash from a parts car

Rob does an excellent job and will be the source for a lot of my new full-leather interior which hopefully will be done about the same time as the bodywork and full respray.

12,500 Euro

Really, well at least according to this ad on German Ebay.

Not strictly all in leather as Alcantara heavily featured.

When I got my car (2001, in Saudi Arabia) the seat leather was shot, but the rest of the FULL leather interior ('leather to sample' on invoice) was just tired. Back in Oz, after some searching for white leather, recovering the seats cost me $2.2k. Then I found a recommended leather man to refresh the rest - $4k. This included R&R of the rear quarters.
Local to me upholstery man re-covered the steering wheel for $250, me supplying the leather...but he swore he would never do another at that price.
