Use the 3mm Allen key to press it down to engage the mixture screw.

Default Back to my problem ;)

Anyway, thanks for the feedback everybody, i think you guys mayby right about the old seal being in there...If o look in the manual it shows that there should be a rubber seal (number 2) in there number 1.(see attachment). The black seal is hard as a rock (see youtube movie), so mayby i should get it out with some force...Anybody ever did that?

Thanks!

Yes, its usually adjusted while running. The act pof pressing down CAN move the lever underneath, and affect the mixture, but only turning the adjuster changes the mixture permanently. ie, push, turn VERY SLIGHTLY, withdraw the tool, assess the change, repeat as required is the process as I understand it.
There are so many things I can think of that are fun to play with but can have catastrophic results, I dont know where to start.....guns, matches, knives, fuel pumps...
People who ask first here, or RTFM (read the f.. manual), rather than 'when all else fails..' get the best results in my experience.

And I have replaced the seal, and it wasnt easy...

In reference to the PET drawing above there is an item (6) backfire grid on the list of parts but no number 6 on the drawing. Can anyone advise what this is about and why the part does not feature in the drawing?

My educated guess is that item #6 was only fitted to M28 11/12 engines in place of item #14 cap.

I got the old ring out and placed the new one which fits like a glove. It was so old and sticky and hard that i had to use a knife to get it out. I also used a vacuum cleaner to get all the crumbs out...Thanks everybody for the feedback.
