The principle on which is works may be the same but best to check with him first.
I will check with him. It would be nice to do this so I can eliminate the bulb control module as a problem for the cruise.

Get a hand operated vac pump from your local parts house. Easy to check the vac reservoir for leaks with this tool. Connect to the reservoir and hand pump until gauge on the pump reads ~20" Hg. It should hold this level easily. If it won't hold then your reservoir is leaking.

Are you running all LED's for the 6 tailights with that napa rear brake light upgrade you performed ? Try swapping in just one of your old incandescent 1157 bulbs. If that works, you can run an inline resistor and swap the LED back in. T

I did cut off the hvac system completely for now so I can eliminate that. I feel like I am getting plenty of vac to the unit now but will check with the might vac to be sure.

I am still running the 1157 bulbs. The reason I went to the napa tail sockets was that old sockets were losing connection.
