If it's the one I'm thinking about, they finally put some window in it, so it's a start.

It's the MAF. No wonder it doesn't start.

We suspected TBF...and we were still outbid. If the engine is sound someone got a good deal.

TBF either kind is not going to be covered by insurance.....unless turned in as stolen then "recovered" with mechanical issues. But only the new owner will know That is a LOT of money for a salvage titled GTS that is not running. But insurance auctions are always a gamble !

The listing stated "won't start"...take from it what you will.

Yea I was looking at the auction too, but the price went spiraling out of control to almost 15k.

Too much money for a non-working car when I can get a running 928 and also get a full leather interior update for that price.

That sold for about 2X what it should have sold for... One must assume it is not running because the engine is BROKEN BIG TIME and if that is the case there isn't another $5k worth of parts on that car I bet...

Even if it was broken, it is better fixed then parts due to it being the rare 1994 model.
Hope the person who bought it is willing to fix it, instead of selling to the scrap yard (I really hope that it was not bought by a dealer)
