Timing light procedure
Is there a timing light procedure for a 16v? Or a recommended timing light?
Since I installed a new TB, manually timed everything but my timing light works on old British cars and I don't think it's accurate at 3000rpm. It runs great....but it would be good to know if it's dialed in the best it can be.
Has anyone done a write up on this (16v)?
Also because I have headers and NOS mufflers, I thinking that the stock settings may not apply.

You can try driving the car up hill, when it lugs, stop the car and back off timing a little, continue to back off a little bit at a time until the lugging is gone.
