Default the little ball bearing in the ATF fill conn.

When I was installing the driveshaft refresh kit from Black SeaR&D last year, the little ball check (or, the little check ball, depending on your syntax preference) in the auto transmission ATF fill conn. went AWOL.

P/N is N 025 657 1, illustration 360-00 in PET.

Rather than mailing a little ball around the country, is there are kind soul who can ballpark the diameter? IIRC it was nominally 3 mm diam. I would like to source one "close enough" from the local bearing shop.

Any help will be highly appreciated. thanks/Tim

Resurrecting this old thread to give the answer- the ball is 6mm, and for me 1/4" did not work. Try a bicycle shop if all else fails.
