Distributor cap, rotor
Just poking around prior to getting it back on the road - spring checkup ;-)
As you can see from the pic, my rotor rides at the very bottom of the distributor tabs. Is this normal ?
It isn't causing any problems for now but I think it should ride higher up the tabs and I could get it to go higher by putting a shim/washer under the rotor. Any issues doing that ?

just to be nit picky.....the rotor should never actually touch the contacts there is an small air gap which the spark must jump. And that jumping bit of lightning erodes and burns the contacts.
