87S4 Hatch reciever question
The top part of the linkage on my hatch receiver has come loose.
There doesn't appear to be threads , but one small bit of metal protruding.
I tried a small circlip , which snapped on, but the upper hole of the linkage slipped over it.
It did have a small nut and washer on it originally, but only worked for a couple of times after the zip tie fix. I can't find them.
The diagram for pn 928-512-055-20-OEM, show the entire receiver, but no breakdown of the receiver.
Is there a repair someone has completed?
Illustration from PET below.

The 2 allen headed set screws screw into a plate, which is located under the receive and is loose located in position to allow the receive to be correctly aligned.
This plate may have fallen down behind the electrical motor, so remove the tool cover and investigate.

Thanks for the response. I'm referring to the linkage, I reread my post and it was unclear. I changed it a bit.

If memory serves (and eyesight - I just popped out to the garage to have a look but a bit difficult to tell with everyting in place), the linkage arm is put on over a rod of metal protruding from the lever arm (attached to the cam) and the top bit of the rod is flattened & splayed to hold the linkage arm on.
If it was me I would drill a suitabe hole in the lever arm 'rod' and rivet a suitable sized washer in place to hold the linkage arm onto the lever arm.

I had the exact same problem, and got a great suggestion which seems to work for me. I can't speak to the longevity of the fix because I still have to repair one of the interior lights so that my hatch release button works.
