Looking good. I used one of Budd's covers in vinyl for Garrett's Marvin car. The only trouble areas I found was making sure the inside curves stayed glued down and the right 90 deg corner at the glove box . I glued his in stages. I used large clamps and wadded up foam as to not dint the surface.

It's page six if your display is set to 15 posts/page. It's post #90, and thanks to ELLSSUU:

I used a cover from Robert Budd too. The 90 degree cut in the corner of the glovebox opening was a bit of a challenge, but since my dash originally had a factory leather cover, I had a corner piece held by a single screw that covered the exposed V of the cut:

You maybe able to source a new or used one of these.

The side of the glovebox itself (not just the glovebox lid) covers the tucks down the side.

Robert talked me through the recover process at Sharktoberfest. Last year? Year before? Something like that. About half way through the discussion I realized I just wanted to ship my dash to him and have him do the recovering. Even with shipping to and from Hawaii.

No kidding-It is very much worth the 250 they charge. It has taken me countless hours but I will have a good result, learned a lot and will take pride that I did it when I see it in front of me all the time. Gunar

Also...test fit your vent bezels before final cover. If its too tight its much easier to fix opening size now than when the cover is on later.
