Default thinking about jumping back in the tank

I do miss my 928 and at times and sorry I sold it. My 996 is great and I plan to keep it but miss the 928 for the long drives.

I am looking for the right car for me. Its a tall order.

Will consider any year but would like at 85+
Will consider 5 speed but I think I want an AT this time.

High Miles not a concern,
I like to tinker, AND I LIKE A DEAL. So a non runner is ok pending why its a non-runner, as long as we have compression in all cylinders Id be OK with that.

Has to be a straight car.
Unless you are all but willing to give it away, I dont want your failed attempt at your "Bargian Porsche" you bought (for the newbees) that you have all ripped apart and 3/4 of everything screwed up.

Looking to be 3-4500$

The only PPI will be an alignment to make sure its not bent and if a non runner a compression check.

I can be emailed at khuber at IPOS dot PRO

Thanks Guys

Kyle, any thought to Mike Wolf's 84 auto? From what I understand he might want to sell it.

What about Andre's car? Check the sticky on top of the page by his wife.

Knew you'd be back Kyle. Good luck in the hunt.

Hey Kyle - good to hear from you. Too bad you weren't looking about 6 months ago. I sold my late partner's 88 S4 for 6K. It was in great shape, but needed a torque tube bearing replaced (and a few other little things) Would have been a great buy for you. You may remember the car from the PVGP gatherings (red/tan &black). Also, as Rick said, Mike is probably going to sell his car. Has a great stereo.

thank you for the warm welcome! I see Andre's. I dont like the color and he and I had words a few times and I dont think he would want me to have it. And although I often say im not into the afterlife... I just feel thats not the car for me. Last I remember Mikes car was Ok, but for some reason I wasnt impressed with it. Maybe I should take another look.....

Yes I Ed I saw that car and the time just wasnt right.
