Robert the OC Wildman
So I thought I would just take a few minutes to share some info about Robert from the OC side (he doesn't wander over here to rennlist much). You can go check out this link... http://forums.928oc.org/vbulletin/sh...?t=2146&page=1 and see the story about the transformation of his car with the help of Austin and other OC'ers. As well as his new love for the 928's.
Now my part of the story... Robert contacted me about supercharging his car. If you made it through to page 3 you will understand why he is not supercharging the car himself. Now here is why I am calling the Wildman.... not only did this guy just got his car back from Austin (who did an awesome job I may add) last weekend, but he was in the hospital just a couple days ago to have a stint put in his heart, or something like that. Now tomorrow he is driving 8+ hours up Michigan to get a supercharger installed come Hell or High snow bank LOL. I told him a couple weeks ago he might need snow chains!! But lucky for him the big storm passed by, and the weather for this weekend looks good... Cold, but good.
Oh and BTW... we are Supercharging his car this Saturday. There are a few 928 people stopping out to help and or hang out, but everyone and anyone is welcome!! I will even supply the pizza and beer
I will also have a snowmobile or two here. Robert is bringing his 16 year old son on the trip, so I said I would have a surprise here for him. He has never ridden or driven a snowmobile before, and there is lots of room in the fields out back.
Anyway here is a picture of his beautiful car and the fresh engine compartment. I will also post an after pic or two. If anyone wants, I can post pics during the day of the install and fun also.

Robert was a pleasure to do business with and I am sure you will find the same.
SC is the next natural stage.

Robert has been a consummate gentleman in asking for advice and direction and I will be glued to this thread as this goes forward. Please keep updates frequent. If anyone wants to know the proper way to SC a car, follow this one.

Victor, I would love to see pictures of the progression as well. This thread will be great to follow. That car has came a LONG way in a very short amount of time as we discussed over the phone. I hope I didn't screw you on the air pump hose! DOH!

From what I've gathered, Austin, you are doing repair jobs now on the 928? Welcome to the club.

I always have though not nearly at the same volume that you and several others here do, Sean. There aren't many 928s in the Nashville area. I think Robert has restored a lot of my interest in these cars. RL has always been a little fast paced for me, but I enjoy the discussions and personalities here just like at the OC. I'm trying to get used to it though.
