How to remove oil cooler lines from radiator?
I've got a leak in radiator of my 91 S4 Auto so am in process of removing it having drained it.
On the 91 the fan shroud is really easy to pull out (could even have left it connected lying on top of intake).
I've soaked the AT cooler fittings with PB Blaster.
Problem is those cooler lines (presumably for AT, not engine oil?). Years ago I picked up 27mm and 32mm wrenches for just this job. I can't use the "squeeze ends" technique as the 2 nuts are positioned such that the flats are almost parallel, so there's no angle between the wrenches.
The 27mm is a bit shorter than the 32mm. If I have the wrenches far apart so I can counterhold the 27mm, there's more leverage from the 32mm so the whole thing just turns including the 27mm and the AT line itself.
Any ideas please? It looks tantalisingly easy to change the rad apart from those fittings!
Thanks

cut the hose then use the box 32 on the B nut, yes you will need a new hose ,
thats easy to replace and it probably needs it ,
cut off the swage then remove the hose from the fitting

Have someone hold the 32mm wrench steady, take a hammer and tap the other one.

Thanks for all suggestions - I feel really stupid not to have flipped wrench!
With wrenches in a V they wouldn't shift, but then I tried using spring compressor to squeeze them and it was ridiculously easy. Only had to turn bolt on compressor using fingers and the 32mm popped.
Radiator is out now. 20 years worth of leaves and other crap between rad and aircon rad so worth doing even without hole in rad!

probably a good time to replace the transmission lines to the cooler
