Default window motor connector removal

I am having a hard time removing the connector from the window motor. The plastic tang is not moving in or out before I break something can anyone advise the way to do this?
The window is dead swapped switch seems to be the motor, if I remove the star bolts will the whole thing come apart and spill parts all over the place?

Not sure if it's the same as 91 but I just had to wiggle it slowly. I removed the outer and then had to untwist the worm gear. Just be careful not to let the window come off track and break! I think there's a write-up. Will search.

Unless the connector for the motor changed between your year and '91, I don't recall there being a tang on the connector, or if there was I got lucky and squeezed in such a way that they just popped off. Here are two shots of a '91 motor connector.

EDIT: LOL, lots of advice on the '91 motors today.

spray some WD40 on the connector,
then wiggle it a bit,
then pull it straight out

Go figure it is now working I took it apart and the rear bearing is cocked and the armature is worn on a few spots. I need to look for a replacement!

Roger has new ones at a very reasonable cost. Sometimes same or nearly what a used one sells for.

I put mine in a drill chuck and spun the armature against some 400 grit sandpaper to clean it up. Works like a champ now.

Well the inevitable question does anyone have a passenger side motor for sale?

I'd get the one Roger is offering. I did find a used one but had to basically rebuild 1 from 2.
