God bless you Greg.

Today, I was reading some of his posts on 928s from another site he was extremely active on (non-P car) and then stumbled back here to find this - How unfortunate, as his advice was always of interest, and added to the internet conversations.

RIP.

He was quite a character. At the time I still had a SAAB, so we occasionally chatted about both SAABs and 928s.

One time, he told me he always pulled his gun on a fellow 928 owner during a confrontation. Thank god this didn't turn into a shoot-out!

What I do remember about Greg was his willingness to help out on this forum. I know he wasn't the first to do this, but it seemed that the advice he gave was sound.

I first met him at SITM back in '06 and then again when he came to Third Coast. He was a good dude.

I know he pulled mine from me because "Friends dont let friends shoot .40's."

Never did get that magazine full of ammo back from him.

His phone number is still on my speed dial. He'd call me and we'd wind up talking for hours!

I really miss him.

I rode by his shop last week. I used to stop in and chat or get much needed advice.
I miss him too.

How do you know it was the same story you remember? I don't know what happened, and how often. I just know he told me of one incident. He did not say you were present.
