Piranha Brothers Garage calls Bullsh!t. My Brothers told me it would not fit, I said Bullsh!t. Here are some pics of an 82 928 with a 2002 Corvette 6 speed transmission. What do ya'll think? :burnout: Thanks Dinsdale

That is awesome. Especially after so many people on here have said for years how it couldn't be done, wouldn't fit etc. What axles are those?
Looks like the mounting HW could almost be a kit...
Yeah, the carrier looks like three steel pieces that bolt in. Can't get much simpler than that.
Hell ya! if you decide to sell a kit let me know.I just happen to have a spare 03 z06 rpm stage 4 trans with a quaife diff itching to go in a 928
No flies on you boy's. We might have a few left after our 11 stage testing process. We'll let ya know how she does ! Thanks Dinsdale
More pics of the coupler/shifter/torque tube area please :D
stock TT? i would SOOOO buy that kit....
I see a custom rear cross member, custom 1/2 shafts & custom sway bar links......
Vette TT, simple custom shifter [sweeeeet!!!!!], custom BH, stock clutch, custom discs. 3 piece crossmember aaaand axles. That's all
C'mon, there's that place in NY or NJ that's had the kit for a decade now, right???
Besides, isn't this a Frenzy tech session topic? Kidding... ONce supercharged 928s were vaporware, once 6 speed 928s were unicorns...progress is good! |
That took some doing. Great planning and execution. That 3 piece crossmember set-up looks very efficient and maybe even lost a few lbs? I can definetly see this kit going into "Just Peachy". T
I've already got one customer who wants that cross member and assembly. Who do I contact to make this happen? The trans is here, we just need to figure out how to mount it.
