People are going to need exhaust, Sharktuning, and a direct connection to God, to get anywhere near these results.

Greg... I 100% value your input, and promise to post true dyno charts. The reason I say that this kit will take a stock car to 450chp, is because we hit 100% on the MAF. If I am wrong, and the MAF maxes out before that, then please just tell me. I have absolutely no problem with positive input and suggestions from anyone. At this point I have nothing against you or anyone else here. So lets try to keep the thread helpful and useful to everyone

One little post to this thread. Anyone wanting to improve the air intake of your 928 do make sure that your AFR's are in shape and your MAF is up to the task. A bolt-on kit is a bolt-on kit of course but it you're using a MAF which as 100kml behind and worn out platiniumstrings inside you're looking at a disaster - sooner or later (rich AFR: alusil is washed from cylinders, lean AFR + boost = meltdown).

I am more than eager to read more about supercharging a 928 as I was today at racetrack inside a Eatonized 993.. He was doing 1m25s laps on his beast (with slicks) and I was doing 1m40s on my "stock" 928 with worn street tires...

I know some applications over here in Finland that are done with rotrex and the results have been absolutely fantastic.

Good point Jarko!!
If your thinking about any supercharger kit, make sure you have good knock sensors in your car too. You can not go putting this or any supercharger kit on your car unless you have had a decent tune up lately!! Your plugs, wires, caps, o2 sensor, clutch, tranny, etc, etc, etc, all need to be in good working order or your asking for trouble!!

That's all I want.

I don't want, need, or think I deserve a bunch of grief.

I think I help more people, on this Forum, than anyone else that "has a business" that has anything to do with a 928.

Anyone!

If you guys don't want my input, just say so...and I'll be gone.

I'm running stock MAF's, "to the absolute wall" at 380rwhp.

I also know that style stock clutch, with a bigger diaphram, will not properly hold down 380rwhp...they will slip.

And a stone stock automatic will last about 2 weeks.

They simply did not design these parts for 450chp. And when the pieces have a zillion miles on them, they will "hold" even less.

Whatever. I'm out of this discussion.

I really do like your kit. Very straightforward and well done! Nice job!

Have fun!

Victor, aren't you the same guy who posted a thread about how well the stock airpump works to cool an air to water intercooler that you converted to make it air/air?

It has been installed on multiple cars now and it works. it is crazy how much air that stock air pump moves. I am not saying by any means you could race a car that way, but around town its a great inexpensive easy solution. Hey who knows maybe we could get someone to test it on a track someday. Don't mock it untill you have tried it and can prove me wrong. As I have the data that proves me right.

But now im curious Fabio, what data did you come up with that says otherwise?

It moves a fair amount of air at cruise...and the faster you go the more air you get.

Whats to hate?

It fits the mission.

I can't say if it works or not, but my experience says if you have a hot fork and you want to cool it down and you have a choice of blowing on it or dipping it in water, I'm going to choose the water.

Air to air intercooling can work (just look at Tood's 1,006 chp beast), but the intercoolers tend to be significantly larger.

Well, of course.

But for the small duty work..it works.

Its a KIT...and affordable.

Add in water/air IC gear, and next thing you know, nobody can afford it.

It fits the small use, non racing work and back mission.

A dozen details could be taken to their logical fits all needs conclusion, but then were talking about a $10k kit here.

Id love a big fast jet that can carry 4000lbs at 400kts.

But one that carries 1300lbs at 165kts fits the mission...and the budget.

Ive heard that oil in the case, isnt good on the vanes in the pump, so it does not last long in that configuration.

You heard right, therefore you want to remove any and all oil that might get in there. Lots of filters out there that can do this.

I'd love to see it. Although your track record with producing accurate date is shaky at best.

So a couple of weeks ago (8/22/12), you announced that you were getting one of these superchargers, but you were still waiting for it.

And you've already got it, installed it, tuned it, and run it both with and without an "air pump" intercooler to see the difference. And since you are firmly saying that you have one and you know the difference, you have data that actually shows the difference?

I'm really impressed, now!

BTW...simply showing Fabio your gathered data would carry more credibiilty and quickly end his questions, instead of you being abusive to another person, on this Forum.

And, of course, any viable data would be naturally gathered, on the dyno....so couldn't you solve this entire question about horsepower output by simply posting that data?

And, sorry, I really was done with this thread, but I just could not move forward without passing on my total amazement that you would have tested all of the different "options", have all of this data, be so active in the discussion, and not be passing it on!
