'PKup'

Unfortunately, it only works in Photoshop land at present.
I hope to have time to work on the deployment mechanism again soon. (Not as easy as I hoped.)
What's cool is, the passenger side door panel has a cutout for the coinholder too. (You can feel it through the carpet.)

The Fischer cup holder is a really nice design. They design a lot of the OEM cup/CD/etc. holders.

I found the cheapest price here.

Does nobody else place the drink in between the driver's legs?

I use the same as sean. Works perfect, price is right, and it pops out for car cruises.

Just got sent a picture from a customer who put this in today.

http://69.89.25.185/~trexsoft/t-rexs...to/c6index.htm

He took it out of his Vette and installed it in his 928. Waiting for a side picture but I'm sure it will look a lot like it did on the Vette on that website.

here is a side shot on the Vette.

No screws or holes. Pretty nifty in the C5 he's got.

I do in my truck, but it doesn't have the power or braking ability to spill it all over me.

Thanks for posting this, Sean. Brilliant.

I showed it to my wife and she picked one up this afternoon at the local Wally's. It wouldn't fit on my side but she's a bit smaller than I.

This is what I've used in a Miata and a Boxster. I plan to use one in the 928. It tucks up right next to the seat and has never gotten in mine or a passenger's way. Can be tweaked to fit almost any size cup or bottle. Attaches with velcro to the carpet and double tape under the console.

No one uses the side pocket in the doors? As long as you have a lid they work fine.

I never have a drink in the car without a lid, with cupholders or without.

This the one I have in my car (Auzivision's picture is of the one in my car...), a VW piece that is/was available through Carl. It is by far the best function and has the most appropriate appearance of any I've seen so far. Pretty much disappears when not in use too.

Nobody uses the cupholder that Paul offers with the center console?

I tend to use the side pocket, or I don't drink anything. My Nalgene bottle has a lid, so I just have to worry about it rolling off the passenger seat. Shifting a manual car with something in-between your legs is not fun.

My 79 had the same unit in place when I bought it, works great and simple. My wife never had an issue sitting with it.
