Unreal! The MSRP on the car was $44K - maintenance, storage etc. over the past 29 years must be that much again (at least). So he's into it for $88K and has just sold it for $59K. So he's spent $14. per mile plus gas to drive it!! If he'd stuck the purchase price in T-Bills he'd have $240K in the bank. And he'd still have all the cash spent on 29 years of storage and maintenance to rent some pretty flash cars.

I really don't get these super-low mileage garage queens. If you're going to own a car you might was well enjoy driving it because it's pretty obviously a lousy way to make money....

Nice purchase for the new owner though!

Ah Yes .."Nice purchase for the new owner though! " too bad they probably never will drive it !! Although you could unplug the speedo sender and put on a few thousand miles
