MPvIII is a ***** to get to, not sure why they had to bury earths under other components, as if a few cm would make that much difference.
And yes, don't mix up CPS wires.....been there .....hmmm

So, since I am replacing the male hall sensor connector I believe looking at the male connector in the same orientation (single up and double down) the wiring is the opposite. Given that as you look at the male connector the order of the wires is left to right is Red, Green, Black.

I don't have my original sensor close enough to verify. But....
IIRC, The ground (shield) terminal should not have any continuity to the other two pins. That leaves the polarity/direction of the other two a guess. But at least the shield wire should be obvious by meter resistance test.
