best way - cost wise - to ship wheels
Looking for advice on best way to ship a set of 4 wheels from a cost perspective. UPS, FedEX, USPS or shipper?

Where are you sending them to? The location? Greyhound is cheap, but they don't deliver to an address

Greyhound or USPS Priority Mail

have a set of phone dials coming from Salt Lake city to Austin. Went to gray hound and their online pricing seemed steep. USPS seemed the best.

I had a set of Ebay phonys sent for about $120 by UPS... sucked :(

Bus is cheapest.

Fedex is about $20-$30 a wheel.

Two wheels per box is usually cheaper than four different items. They will weigh about 50 lbs per box, (or two boxes with one in each firmly strapped together with packaging tape). I usually use FedEx, as I have an account there.

Just rims or rims plus tires? Some carriers have wieght limits, not Forward Air.
http://www.forwardair.com/ Reasonable option for heavy items. |
Just rims. Looks like USPS parcel post is $30ish per pair shipped in one box.
