Well it looks like I have lots of interest but no buyers for the Beast other than some trades for Kidneys, Nuts, Cars, Girl Friends or Wives. I do understand how the economy works and hence I want to make it harder for someone who really wants this car but might be on the fence.

Here is what I will do for a Rennlister before the car goes on E Bay.

Adjust the price down to $58,500. There is that better? I will also include with the sale 2 Carbon X fire proof driving suits, two Carbon X cool shirts and the complete cooling system.

I'm not through yet! If you want to go really fast you need a couple of Hans devices, now included. Oh, if you want to time keep and zero the course you will need a GPS. OK, I'll include that too.

Any body tempted to write me a check yet?

Tough group here. OK, you get all of the spares too. I don't have a complete list but it is extensive. Spare brain, spoilers, fluids, jack stands, jack, air compresser, nitrogen bottle, hose and guage, fasteners, fittings, fuses, relays, I don't remember all the stuff in the trailer but you get the point. I will confirm the inventory prior to sale.

That should seal the deal right? How about if I make one more try!

How about if I throw in a 24' Featherlite trailer with tire racks, weight distribution bars, hitch weight guage and a couple of spare tires? Any takers?

That's it folks, this is a screaming deal, I can't make it any better.

Thanks for reading.

God what a deal. I wish Anne's book would go ahead and hit the best sellers list... She said if it did, she would buy this for me.... At the Mercy of the Queen... An awsome Tudor novel...

WOW! Adding the trailer and all the safety gear and spares to make this a complete plug-and-play road racer package (and remember, the car is totally streetable as well - as nice a ride as any 928). My Lord!

And for anyone who has never met Tim and Cheryl or seen the car and trailer in the flesh, I can 100% reassure you that everything about this car and the trailer is first-class. The trailer is far cleaner and in better shape than my house. Tim is on the extreme end of the meticlulous scale. I've never seen anything they own even look dusty.

My divorce will not be final soon enough for me to take advantage of this deal.

Oh Bill, I was just thinking of you earlier when I made my post. This is the perfect setup fof you. I hope someone gets it that is as much in love with the sharks as we are.

Best of luck with the sale and thanks for the pictures. I was hoping to feel well enough to maybe come that way this year but now it looks like Next year...

HI Tim and Cheryl-

If you keep this up, I might even go for it! But, don't sell your safety gear. If you do any track days, and I hope you do, you'll wish you still had it.

Good luck with the sale and I'll see you shortly.

As far as i'm concerned, any 928 with the original engine is still a 928. Even if all the rest of the car is built around the original engine.

Beautiful car. I love it! I hope you get your asking price.

It is going to be a very hard sell, no doubt. Lots of cars that are quicker or faster or nicer in that price range. As much as I love the 928, I would have a very hard time paying that price for a 928 with the mileage and the fact it was raced. Your niche will be someone that is looking for a track car and loves 928's.

It's never been track raced. It's been driven essentially the way it was designed to be driven, just 40 MPH faster. One thing about open road racing - the brakes are essentially unused and the tranny just sits in 5th gear. Not much happens, but it happens very fast.

Really?
You know of lots of cars that are faster. Let me know where they are and I will probably buy them. Yes it will be hard to sell. That is why all of the things are included. But lots of cars that are faster. Not likley!
