Injector harness layout
How is the fuel injector harness put together? Do the injector leads all splice directly off a "main lead" or do they run further back towards the LH plug?
I'm deliberating changing all injector leads with new pigtails versus just swapping the connector ends and boots.

two groups, 1 -4 & 5 - 8, all grounds 4 per side go to ground lugs at back of engines V.
All positive leads go to LH
Note: they all "batch" fire, and a single shorted injector will take out a bank iirc
Noticed your car is 89 and would have cat protection relay, you're injectors are divided by ignition banks
1674 & 5238

Thanks, that helps. Question is, do all wires run back individually to ground and LH or do they splice of a main ground and positive lead close to where where they exit the harness? If a single short takes out a "bank" 1674 or 5238, that would mean injectors 1674 are wired in series, as are injectors 5238. Does that mean there are two continuous wire loops per side and not splices per injector?
