Mecum auto auction
Just saw a 1989 S4 on the show was upto $15,500 and thèy were making some disparaging remarks about 2 944 engines put together and gives horrible gas mileage.

When GM was making really bad cars in the mid-to-late '80s, somebody in Detroit took a look at the 928S4 and decided that engine was worth copying. I have both engines in my 87S4 and my Cadillac. The S4 engine is far better.

I was watching tonight as well and as the car was wheeling up to the block my daughter is yelling Dad! Dad! look its.. 928. I said thanks kiddo and she says no Dad look at the clock its your car time 9:28.
She is 5 and pronounces Porsche the correct way too. Of course I will have to deny that she was up after she should have been in bed.

The best years of the Barret-Jackson auction is when Alain de Cadenet was on the stage. He was rather clueless on all the American iron, but knew all the european stuff........

I told him that I'd recently said to my wife that I thought he was one of the more knowledgeable car guys on tv & that the BJ Auction just wasn't the same without him on it. He actually seem appreciative of my comment & said to stay tuned, that there was more planned for the near future.
I guess his new show the Renascence Man is the results. I saw one last week where it was about the RR Merlin engine & enjoyed seeing the P-51s. Lucky devil got a ride in one, all I've had so far is to get to sit in one!

Yeah his show Victory by Design back in the mid 2000s was awesome. Each show was an hour long & dedicated to just one car brand, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Aston, Alfa, Maserati. He showed & drove some very historic & rare cars too.
