Fix it when you get tired of the warnings or plan to sell the car, until then just drive it and enjoy.
928's are amazing cars. There are many places where maintainence can be "defered" and the car will still function. Not this way, on most other vehicles.

I get vehicles in, with 2-3 page lists of things that need to be fixed/other shops could not fix, all of the time. Amazing vehicles.

The accumulator in this system looks identical to the 928 PSD one. It is also the same as the accumulator in a Buick Reatta (http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-255283.../dp/B000C9LTRC). It may be possible to use parts from the SAAB assembly in the 928 PSD system. You can find used pumps in self-pull salvage yards for $30.

Range Rovers from the same era 91-94 also have a similar hydraulic pump for the ABS system and no Brake booster however these are around $1000 new and very rare used.

I suspect that the ABS pumps probably provide a higher pressure and greater flow. EDIT not that this matters as the switch will turn off the pump at the required pressure.
